IPC releases comments about Bill No. 87, Personal Property Security Registry (Electronics)

On April 9, 2015, Bill No. 87, Personal Property Security Registry was tabled. The Information and Privacy Commissioner has released comments about Bill No. 87 and the impact it will have on the privacy of Yukoners' and others whose personal information may be contained in this registry. She recommends that the exclusion of the application of the Access to Information and Protection of Privacy Act to the registry information be removed from the Bill.
